TUSCALOOSA, Alabama — For the first time, Alabama and Georgia will meet for the conference championship when they play each other Saturday in the SEC Championship Game.

Georgia didn’t need to win a nonconference game Saturday, but it did anyway, drilling Georgia Tech 42-10.
