Alabama football prepares for second scrimmage before A-Day

Derrick E. Hingle - USA TODAY Sports

In mostly cloudy, 76-degree temperatures, Nick Saban and the University of Alabama football program are inside Bryant-Denny Stadium warming up for its final scrimmage of spring ball.

With its annual A-Day scheduled for next week, the idea is to locate more athletes that want to play “winning football” and grow in consistency.

Saban will speak with the media following the two-hour practice, but listed below are the notes from warmups prior to the exhibition.

-After missing the first scrimmage, Henry Ruggs III was back leading one line of receivers.
