PODCAST: Notes from inside Alabama’s first spring scrimmage

Nick Saban and Alabama football have one final scrimmage on Saturday prior to A-Day, as spring practice starts to wrap up. During its first live exhibition last week from Bryant-Denny Stadium, there were a few players that stood out to the coaching staff and fans.

Saban discussed some of the good things and areas the Crimson Tide needs to improve on with the media, following the two-hour practice.

In getting back to the “Alabama factor,” the five-time national champion is trying to locate the players that want to play winning football.

Before the pads go off for part two, Stephen Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine released a segment on Wednesday via In My Own Words on the first scrimmage.

After talking with various sources, Smith breaks down the individuals that stood out to him.
